I am very excited to have joined the grid of the BRSCC VW Audi Championship for 2026.

BRSCC Silverstone Rising Stars Finals Weekend

RACE WEEKEND UPDATE

Brilliant day with great results for the final weekend of the BRSCC Racingline VW/Audi Championship.

First time on the International circuit and had a good practice/qualifying session where my lap times came down throughout the session.

Race 1

Brilliant race gaining a number of places which resulted in my finishing 1st in the Group C category, this was despite me getting some wheel spin off the line which wasn’t ideal, loved the car which was amazing and my laps were getting better and better throughout the race, lost some momentum toward the end due to the car in front blowing its engine and covering my car in oil, with oil on track and on my tyres I had to back of a little and just get it across the line, still a great result.

Race 2

Excellent start and battled with a pack of cars all race, last lap was my fastest of the weekend taking a second of my lap time whilst getting a overtake done in the last corner before the finish by throwing the car down the outside to force the move.

P2 in catagory so a successful weekend.

I have finished the 2026 Championship 2nd in the Group C category

All this whilst at a slight disadvantage with running old tyres that were at the end of their life, and not having a limited slip differential which some of the other cars had.

Had a great day with the Rocketdog Racing team who worked really hard and were amazing, what we have achieved this year is unbelievable

RACE WEEKEND UPDATE

What a challenging weekend for the team.

Saturday

Started Saturday with qualifying and for the first 2/3 laps the car was brilliant and my pace was competitive, but then the car developed a misfire, the team identified an ignition issue and made changes.

RACE 1

Got a mega start off the line getting past a couple of cars on the first lap and then a couple more on lap 2, but the issue came back with a misfire, I pushed as hard as I could and got P2 in my category recovered something positive.

This was Saturday finished with so the team worked tirelessly until 9pm ready for Sunday.

Sunday

RACE 2

Great start off the line overtaking 3 cars from the start into Paddock Hill bend, then got a good run into Druids overtaking 1 more, another successful overtake along Cooper Straight into Surtees, getting on the back of an Audi TT, as I went through Clarke Curve the car dropped power, it was enough to drop me off the back and I had to fight to keep up, as I continued it got worse until I had to retire from the race.

The team got to work on the car straight away trying to diagnose the fault, this time it was a fault with the DSG gearbox sensor, working right up to the assembly time of race 3, we retired the car for the day as the issue was still there.

I’m gutted for me but I’m also gutted for the team as they worked non stop, its so disappointing as the car has that much power and torque and the chassis is amazing, the team didn’t give up.

@rocketdog_racing are a team I’ve got so much admiration and respect for.

Oulton Park

Not the weekend I wanted, turned out to be a short day

Qualifying went really well, car went and felt brilliant after the development the team have carried out since Donington, qualified 2nd in class for race 1

Race 1 – Brilliant launch of the line gaining places before turn 1 and getting on the back of the pack, as I was exiting Cascades a car was sideways so we all took to the grass to avoid it, recovered and had really good pace, but what I didn’t realise is my air intake was now full of grass causing the engine to overheat and a DNF.

Engine is now seized and ruined.

To add further disappointment whilst being towed back to Parc Ferme the pickup did an emergency stop for no reason, causing me despite warning them I had no brakes or power steering to go straight in to the back of the towbar causing damage to the bumper, slam panel, radiator and intercooler, which is now being investigated by the BRSCC who were very proactive in dealing with it, thank you BRSCC.

Now have some challenges ahead with a new engine needed and repairs to the front end before the next round at Brands Hatch Indy on 15/16 August.

We now have a very competitive car just didn’t get the chance to show its full potential this weekend

Snetterton - BRSCC VW Audi Racing Championship - 2 X 1st in category

Amazing weekend racing at Snetterton in the BRSCC VW Audi Racing Championship.

Saturday
Race 1 – Suffered Turbo issues on lap 2 which caused me to retire and DNF.

@rocketdog_racing and @barracksport worked flat out to identify the issue and have it ready for Sunday .

Sunday
Race 2 – Car was amazing and won 1st in category, brilliant race with some opportunities to make some overtakes.
Race 3 – brilliant race and car was mega winning 1st in Category, took half a second off my lap time.

2 Podium’s and good soak in Champagne

What a mega weekend, car was set up amazingly and I was consistent all weekend with my lap times.

Donnington Park - BRSCC Trackit summer race weekend report 2 X podium finishes (P2)

Qualifying was cut short with electrical issues after 2 laps as I came through Goddards I lost all electrics so had to pull on the grass causing a red flag.

Race 1
Good start but the power wasn’t there, I finished the race getting a podium P2 in class.

Found that the MAF Sensor was restricting the engine so Craig worked flat out to have the car ready for Race 2

Race 2
Car felt brilliant and the power was back, I made the decision to run on wets because of the weather which didn’t start to pay off until the last 5 minutes of the race, finished with the second podium P2 in class.

Challenging weekend with electrical issues but came away with 2 podiums which is brilliant.
